2019-2020 FACULTY

Honestly, "Faculty" is shortchanging these folks. The remarkable educators seen below are your teachers, your mentors, your advocates, your cohorts. They go above and beyond the call of duty on a daily basis to inspire you to be your best self, to make learning relevant and exciting, and to provide an environment which celebrates success and recognizes failure as an opportunity for growth.

OUR STAFF

Without their invaluable contributions to The Foundry, the wheels of our school would quickly stop turning. Behind the scenes, these individuals are preparing transcripts, advocating for The Foundry to universities, paying the bills, providing financial accountability, keeping the paperwork in order, developing systems for organizational success...

In short, they make The Foundry happen.

FOUNDING BOARD

In April of 2017, a small group of people saw an opportunity to change the face of education in our community. Out of their dream, The Foundry was born. This Founding Board envisioned the mission, core values, motto, and culture of our school. Through their hard work and dedication, the doors of The Foundry opened in August of 2018, and...

high school was redefined.

SCOTT COLSON

Scott is a dedicated husband and the proud father of two amazing boys. An entrepreneur at heart, Scott is the President of The Vacation Property Group, an innovative leader in the tourism industry on the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. He believes wholeheartedly in the mission of The Foundry to provide an upgraded foundation for students to reach their full potential and be prepared for the challenges and opportunities of today's world. Scott has many interests, but takes great pride in working with youth and has coached youth sports and robotics teams for many seasons.  Scott has degrees from Georgia Tech in Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Industrial Management.  Go Jackets!

DENISE CRAMER

Denise lives in Fayette County with her husband and two children. She joined the effort to create The Foundry because she recognized the need for something beyond the traditional high school experience. Denise serves as operations manager for a non-profit organization and takes stewardship of resources very seriously. She is working diligently to ensure that The Foundry continues to provide an affordable independent school option for families who wish to foster a life-long love of learning in their children.

ALAN GILBERT

Alan is a dedicated proponent of education. Holding a B.S and M.S. in Applied Physics, he has worked in both the government and private sectors. As a resident of Fayette County, he volunteers with the local youth baseball program and is an outdoor enthusiast. Alan is a strong proponent of making education real and believes that The Foundry can change the future of education.

CHRISTI MCCULLY

Christi and her husband Dan have lived in the Coweta-Fayette area for the past 18 years. She served on the board of Eagles Nest and started and directed The Bridge and Soaring Eagles, where she taught middle and high school level Language Arts and History. She was also the Founder of Liberty Tech Charter School. Christi holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master's in Educational Leadership and loves being the Headmaster of The Foundry.

DEBBIE LUTE

Debbie resides in Fayetteville with her husband Richard and her two youngest children, while her oldest has graduated from UGA and lives in Washington DC. A graduate of Indiana University in Spanish, Debbie worked in the medical industry before homeschooling her children. While managing several co-ops, she discovered a love of mentoring students and in assisting in their leadership development. Debbie is particularly excited about the House system and the opportunity she has had to mentor students at The Foundry.
